did you know? a usb cd/dvd drive you can plug into your computer is like $25 max
a library card is free and they often have loads of DVDs
there are many free programs online for video transcoding
if u put these things together, you can have big hard drive full of movies and/or TV shows

The only way to use Linux is to tell other Linux guys it's a piece of garbage. Then while they're thinking of come-backs, recite decades old bugs from man pages from memory while quietly fixing the problem, allude to your impending nervous breakdown, and move on to the next task.
i believe people when they say linux has gotten better in the last few years. what i'm skeptical of is that linux Guys have improved. i will not use an OS where i'm at high risk of someone calling me stupid for not liking some aspect of the experience. i must be allowed to hate the computer
