This is an important precedent, though Eck was punished in an international tribunal. The US has tried and convicted its own soldiers for murder as well--dozens were tried and convicted during the Vietnam War, most famously Lt. William Calley for My Lai massacre. Most went unpunished.

Hegseth is war criminal.

This is clearly murder and has been clearly murder from the start. It is almost certainly a violation of US law, the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and international law.
America is committing mass murder as a matter of policy. There is video of two men clinging to a boat after being hit by a missile; Hegseth ordered these helpless men slaughtered by a second strike.

The depravity of it all.
