The first IREX ferry would have been online THIS WEEKEND if Nicola did not cancel them

Now we have 4 more years of dodgy shit while we wait for the TEMU option....
Boy am I glad the first replacements for these ferries will be arriving in Feb 2026, with port upgrades at Picton and Wellington nearing completion after two and a half years of work.

Oh wait, hold on a second, just hearing that ferries won't be here until 2029.

This is NZME's first story on the UN report. They lead with attacks from right-wing politicians.

What in the report is laughable? What are the facts?

Always tone over substance.

I can call it now, they are both the worst! That was so easy.

We live in a world of abundance, and that includes titles and crowns for shit politicians who would rather use their power to punch down and entrench poverty in this country.

If National and Labour agree on a 'bipartisan' policy to follow Australia's social media ban

Aotearoa will be fucked

AoNZ is one of few countries to be so beholden to Microsoft at a government (local, regional, and definitely national) level. It's always been a challenge to bring in other (better) tech as the immune system has built up over many years, and is very strong.

Everyone please,

think of the poor asbestos suppliers who had their sales reduced and businesses shut down

because of the woke mentality of not dying from Asbestosis.

Disappointing that the article doesn't talk to any public health experts or highlight any of the research that draws a link between late night purchases and alcohol harm.

"Over the past year, my total sales have reduced by 23.5 percent," he said.

That'd frame that number a bit different, huh.

I can't think of a more stereotypically-kiwi quote that's somehow resonating and relevant to Aotearoa than

"They're killing our native birds and not shagging them.”
