My mum and I put up Christmas decorations today even though she initially said she didn’t want to. I told her we’d do it and she ended up glad we did. It’s the first Xmas without dad, just gran, mum and I (my partner goes home to his parents) and it will be hard but we will make the best of it.

I’m replaying one of the best games of all time. I got one of those emulator handhelds and it had Terranigma on it. This game stayed with me forever after I played through it at age 13. Its story about a hero reviving a desolate Earth and uncovering the secret of his own existence is incredible.

I just saw an ad for eBay in which a woman gets out her mobile in the cinema and - not even whispering - says "Action figure in box, just sold it!" and her partner is like "You just sold that? Here?" and she's all happy. CAN WE NOT PROMOTE MOBILE USAGE IN THE CINEMA, PLEASE?! (1/2)

Oh gosh… I may have slightly underestimated the height of the Boo-tique Hotel. It’s as high as my desk. It definitely won’t fit the spot where I planned to put it. 😆 But it’s so adorable. The details are amazing even though a lot of it is just printed on. #monsterhigh #dollsky

This needs to be said, because I feel like mainstream culture has NORMALIZED the idea of people shaming people for their nerdy, socially non-conforming or unusual hobbies.
So a lot of people endure their partner making them feel ashamed of their toys or hobbies, etc. when they REALLY SHOULD NOT.

Spent some time on Arcadia and set up some Christmas decorations in my home. I know it’s early but hey. Butch came camping and moved in since Barold planned to move to a warmer climate anyway. The island will miss the little creep. We all loved him. #ACNH
