YOUTUBE AND INSTAGRAM STOP TRYING TO PUSH 40 YEAR OLD POTTER HEADS ON MY FEED!

I don't get it. I keep saying I don't want to see these videos and they still are pushed on my feed.

If you're curious about the filming locations:

First picture is clearly on the roof of the Sun Life building with a weirdly decapitated 1000 de la Gauchetière building in the background.

Second is Sun Yat Sen plaza in Chinatown

The last two are on the corner of Bleury and Sherbrooke

I love when movies are like "oh yeah this is TOTALLY TAKING PLACE IN NEW YORK CITY"

And you take one glance at the background and it's obviously Montreal.

The second picture with the very green Complexe Desjardins isn't exactly subtle lol

I got my COVID/flu booster yesterday and I'm REALLY feeling it today.

It had been a while since a vaccine made me feel so bleah

No.

No! they're absolutely not okay!

They really corrected the copaganda angle of the first with the second, haven't they?

That's actually surprising, in a good way.
Zootopia 1: A good cop can make a difference and stereotypes are harmful.
Zootopia 2: Institutions are built on lies. The police will always protect the wealthy but individuals, free from blind allegiance, can make a difference if they aren't bound by systemic support.
Also no pants. Pants bad.
Zootopia 2 was GOOD. I feel all blushy and stupid. So many cute critters :3

I have to agree with this.

It's one thing to criticize the CAQ's overreaching secularism bill.

It's ANOTHER to use the Bedford school case to do it where teachers refused to teach science and sex ed, where girls were treated differently, and did autism-denial on "religious beliefs" basis.

Approaching Montpellier station makes it even more evident how big of a change to the area it made :
December 2, 2025 at 4:18 AM
I found an old video from before the REM when the Deux-Montagnes line was still operating as a suburban train line.

It's so weird to see how the old station were basically just glorified concrete slabs with tiny shelters

Same stop, 11 years apart:

Besides the fact that every scene in "Julie and Julia" that didn't include Julia Child should have been cut.

What bothers me the most about this movie is how Julie Powell and her husband don't EAT food. They *STUFF* food in their mouths like pigs throughout the whole movie. It's gross.

What frustrates me about this bullshit is that DESPITE NOT LIVING IN THE USA, *MY* internet experience will be affected by it because conservatives in the USA won't take a fucking second to ACTUALLY BE A PARENT AND MONITOR THEIR KID'S INTERNET USAGE
Congress is attempting to fast track KOSA and more than a dozen bills that would restrict internet access, censor speech and increase surveillance under the guise of protecting children.

Committee hearings begin tomorrow.
Lawmakers to consider 19 bills for childproofing the internet
KOSA is back, along with more than a dozen other bills that will erode free speech and privacy in the name of protecting kids.

By the way, I've made some much better looking houses in #Thesims4 which you can download.

Like, for example, the house from the 1976 version of Carrie:

Oh by the way,

The house is available for download on #TheSims4 gallery under the name "insane ai-generated house"

Look you can't claim to be an "old furry" unless you've actually used an FTP client to upload stuff to VCL or Furnation

I know it's a relatively minor thing compared to... EVERYTHING ELSE... but am I the only one who thinks it's super annoying for Trump to always be hanging out of door frames when giving interviews or insisting on doing interviews near loud aircraft engines, ALL THE TIME?!

Being on Bluesky, while it's FAR from perfect, makes me wish I had left Twitter before as well.

And I say that as someone who was on here full time as soon as mid-2023.

A lot of people, including me, had not REALLY realized how toxic things had actually become.
It has now been a year since I stopped posting on X. For @spitfirenews.com, I wrote about watching the platform I loved become a conduit for the worst extremism I've ever witnessed. I don't regret leaving. In fact, I wish I'd left even earlier.

A year ago, I abandoned my account. It was the right thing to do.
