This type of thing is why I have a hard time these rich people and pundits seriously.
At a certain level of wealth, you can just opt out of the system. And these people are already WELL past that!

I have a really hard time seeing this and understanding how this isn't a sign of collapse of the Republican Party.
Like, EVERY state leader should call their bluff. EVERY person who says they believe in federalism should be out there not just denouncing this, but campaigning against it.

Your end-of-year reminder that foundations are required to disburse only 5% of their assets for charitable purposes and that DAFs have no such requirement but provide a similar tax write-off.

Big fan of @bart.gov, but I don't understand why they're not being more transparent as to why there are such consistent issues Monday mornings.
There is currently no Red Line service. For Millbrae take the shuttle train between SFO and Millbrae and transfer to/from the Yellow line (Antioch-SFO). Millbrae riders from Richmond take the Orange/Berryessa train and transfer at MacArthur to the Yellow/SFO train.

Tbh, I'd LOVE to see a huge media blitz on this next week. This will save multimodal commuters $100+ a month! Local electeds need to be telling people about this win.
