"Analysis by the National Records of Scotland (NRS) found a higher proportion of individuals born in Italy identifying as Roma than expected. Officials concluded that some census respondents born in Rome, which is called Roma in Italian, may have ticked the Roma ethnicity category in error."
If I moved back to Leeds (I’ve been in Surrey since coming here to uni in the late 90s) then it would probably be to Chapel Allerton. I miss Leeds and love visiting. I miss decent fish and chips too. They’re just not the same down here!
My dad’s moving to Chapel Allerton next month after a decade in France and most of his adult life in Headingley. Just reserved a copy of the book as a gift for him. He’s really excited to be moving there! Loves going to Seven Arts when he comes back to Leeds.
What’s your source for this? Not seeing this reported anywhere else. There’s a Bluesky account called France Elects that hasn’t posted in 3 months. Have you made this up?
Met him once. We played an all-dayer at the Peel in Kingston that they were headlining. Would have been well before any of this (c. 2000?), but even then he seemed like a right c**t.
Watching Flight 666 this evening and already looking forward to seeing them again in Paris next year. They were phenomenal this year and 6(?) years ago when I saw them there on their Legacy Of The Beast tour!
It certainly tests my opposition to capital punishment, but on reflection I still don’t think we can go there. Still, I’m not losing any sleep over what’s just happened.
