I sound like a broken record but this game is sooooo good!! Worth every penny. Beautiful, fun, different while still hitting all the things you love about story-driven adventure games, can be quite challenging if you want it to be, and there's romance too

Hearing the Dragon Age Veilguard cast speak so passionately about their voice and mocap work and general excitement over joining the franchise is so bittersweet. Makes me sad we missed out on so many interviews because of the strike, but also sad that we're not getting a sequel with them returning 😔

this feels like another iteration of the "what if I give a homeless man money and he buys booze" thing. So then he bought booze, so what, you are not his personal life coach. You did your bit now go live your life.
Balancing "no person with a disability should be denied accommodations" with "it's important to discourage non-disabled people from pretending to be disabled to take advantage of these accommodations" is really difficult and I don't have a great answer for what anyone should do about it.

This is the experience of many disabled people btw. And it doesn't stop at looks, too. It's insults, threats, denial of the accomodations, etc.
I guarantee the hassle to get accomodations is enough to deter most fakers (are they even that many that it's worth talking about?)

I know someone not visibly disabled who refused to use the handicapped spaces she was qualified for because of people's looks. But not using them drastically reduced what she was able to do, because they were actually really helpful to her.
Her life materially improved when she started using them.
