It was a huge mistake for Democrats to concede that Trump can be president in spite of having tried to do a coup. If A14S3 doesn't mean what it says, how can we trust anything in the Constitution means what it says? Most saliently right now, the appropriations clause.

One thing I will say I am not happy about in this Buttigieg profile is we need radical changes but they might take a generation. When it comes to fighting back the tide of fascism, I'm not sure we have a generation. I certainly don't want to watch America teeter on the brink of fascism til I'm 70.

Unlike Venezuela, which has been treated as a rogue state by multiple US administrations, Colombia has been the US’s closest ally in Latin America in terms of security and counternarcotics for decades. This is a big deal. It gives countries little incentive to partner with the US.
