On Twitter I made a thread where I watched and commented upon every episode of #DoctorWho.

Over the years I've bought a surprising amount of #BigFinish audio stories and can't keep track of them. So I'm going back to the start and listening to them. I apologise in advance

Okay, I think I figured out how to turn the audio sample into a video that can be uploaded to Bluesky. Here are the first 3 minutes.

I had apprehensions that the Paranormal Activity play would be a lazy cash in reliant on loud noises & little more. There are jump scares but they’re all earned, along with hood stagecraft that had the audience hushed, screaming and my adrenaline pumping

Full of characters, a slice of what the East End was like right after the Second World War demolished it, an opening song by Oliver!'s Lionel Bart and a scene with a mirror in purely to perve on Babs' bum, out of sorts with the rest of the film. It's quite the picture, well worth a watch
On the @talkingpicturestv.bsky.social channel at 9.55pm, Barbara Windsor stars in Joan Littlewood's "Sparrows Can't Sing", the first English-language film to be released in America with subtitles to translate the Cockney rhyming slang. artandhue.com/plays

THE FIVE DOCTORS (1983)
When I was on parental leave I pushed the baby around loads of weird museums and the Grand Lodge Freemason museum in Covent Garden is great. All very “we are modern and forward facing” and then you step into a side staircase and find this painting.

Farage just said “I didn’t wear a mask last time and I won’t wear them this time. This is nonsense.”

Here he is, not only wearing a mask, but also getting vaccinated…

I see Bonnie Blue is in the news again and I just have no respect for that woman.

In her documentary she says she’ll be the first person to have a gangbang with over 100 people, completely ignoring the Houston 620 video that was everywhere on the early internet. No respect for the early pioneers

On this day (11th December) in 1983, the Scala Cinema was showing Great Guns, The Big Noise and Angora Love as a Laurel & Hardy triple bill. This was a special Christmas show highlighting their more rarely screened films.

A few weeks ago at the V&A, I noticed some small print on a series of terracotta carvings that noted some rich cunt had donated them ‘as part of an agreement with HMRC’ ie instead of paying tax. Makes me bristle
I mean I get it but sometimes you see a painting that's listed as being in a 'private collection' and I just feel violent

I’m finally watching The Prisoner for the first time, since ITVX added it as part of their ITV at 70 strand and I‘m astonished they give away the Rover animation at the start of each episode. It’s like giving away the Tracy Island take-offs at the start - it’s what you’re waiting for
