I had apprehensions that the Paranormal Activity play would be a lazy cash in reliant on loud noises & little more. There are jump scares but they’re all earned, along with hood stagecraft that had the audience hushed, screaming and my adrenaline pumping

Le Carré is adapted for the stage for the first time. Despite the flashy venue, it’s a very trad play. I found the lead much more compelling than Burton and the love story slightly more believable.
It could do with more tension early on but on the whole I really enjoyed it.
