Just dropping in to say hi before I get lost in books and video games. Spent the last few days carrying large rocks (small boulders), moving the lumber pile, lining the fence with lumber and digging irrigation ditches to trap the rain, and starting a blackberry patch under the bathroom window. Whew.

Also, putting it along your footpaths will mean the scent is released when people walk along, covering the scent of human to ward off mosquitos and making a lovely scent when gardening. Attracts pollinators and fairies :)

Today I finished cleaning up a 10 year old lumber pile in the back of our trailer, started by the people who lived here before us. I turned it into barriers that were designed to contain rain, and make it soak deeper. I raked an empty lot to cover them in mulch. Then an unexpected rain came :).

Today instead of doomscrolling, I moved most of the lumber pile against my fences and the edge of my trailer skirting. It's all rotting wood full of nails. I'll cover it with mulch and sticks, digging out nails as I go. Now I am sore, so I read gardening books on my phone in my garden :). #gardening
