Quick intro. I'm Dan. Started drawing again over a decade ago as a mental escape from the FT non art job. These days I am doing almost exclusively pen work and personal pieces.

My art is darker and surreal and often is often a look at harsh qualities of organic/technology/ beauty and darkness.

Hornet (reversed) Hornet from Silksong and the Knight from Hollow Knight are pictured on a tiled platform with ornate wrought iron arches in the background. Hornet pats the Knight on the head. A street lamp lights up the Knight and the bench. The air is hazy. This drawing is dated 20251003 Spooky stands in a large dark space, holding a lantern. In front of Spooky a large pipe has one end bolted to the floor, and the other end is lost in the darkness above. There are a few smaller pipes branching from the big pipe, which bend and disappear into the floor. Far overhead, other pipes branch off the big pipe and bend upwards, disappearing into the darkness. There is a similar structure twenty paces off in the background to Spooky's left side. A nighttime scene with a clear sky with a moon and stars. The viewer is looking at a short tower with a round base built into the slope of a grassy hill. Windows in the sides of the base are open and illuminate patches of the grass. The tower has a wooden stairway that winds around the outside. At the top of the tower is a telescope and a little girl yeti waving down at the viewer. The girl's name is Qualmie.

A traditional, mixed media art piece involving painting with water-soluble markers and watercolour pencils, black ink pens and coloured pencil crayons. Inspired by Pin-Up art and the tabletop role-playing game, Dungeons and Dragons. The image is of a humanised mimic. The mimic itself is a treasure chest full of teeth with a large tongue. Attached to the skin of the tongue, sits a monstrous feminine figure with a mouth in place of a stomach and hips. She has one hand reached upwards, coming through slimy, green hair. There is a hand in a pool of blood behind the chest and gold coins on the floor around her. This piece is from a collection of digital, mixed media pieces. They all blend digital illustration with edited photography. This particular piece has a large cat skull floating in a bubbly pink liquid on the left side of the image. It has been blended in a background of pink, foamy bubbles and dark blue water. A graphic made with one of my sticker designs. The image is the face of my character, Pill Bug - a cartoon character wearing a nurse's cap with a full fringe and droopy elf ears. Her left eye has been split in two and all her pupils have been replaced by pills. She is sticking her tongue out. The background is pastel colours, scribbled over an edited photograph with bees cut out in a pattern. The price was originally £29.99 but the set has been put on sale for £5.
