I think they are actually referring to his disqualification on the 2024 World Championships, while you're referring to the 2024 Olympics.

He also didn't get physical there, but he did get suspended for a month

Chrono might be heading towards its largest startlist since 2010, when it had 33 riders starting.
2022 and 2018 had 29 riders, PCS currently has 27 riders on the 2025 startlist.

I am ready to call this one. Practically, Total would need to win Chrono, Tour of Holland GC and 2 stages without Cofidis scoring any points the rest of the week to catch up. That's not happening.
