Tadej Pogačar 🇸🇮 is said to support the Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a España swapping places in the calendar?

What are your thoughts? The weather may improve for Italy but Spain still gets high 30s regularly in May especially in the south of the country.

This is a shame that they're closing those teams but their loss is the younger generations gain, I guess!
🇲🇽 A.R Monex, the team that gave Isaac del Toro his start, is closing its men's under-23 team and women's elite team for 2026.

They will now focus on their junior and youth programmes as they seek to find the next Mexican stars

Biniam Girmay 🇪🇷 will leave Intermarché-Wanty after 5 and a bit years where he won Tour green and 4 stages, a stage of the Giro, Gent-Wevelgem and much more.

Where will he go next? Well, almost every finger points towards NSN Cycling, formally Israel-Premier Tech. A good move for the Eritrean star?

Bahrain Victorious announced that they part with Merida bikes after nine seasons with the team.

What bike brand do you think they will swap to? There's a lof chatter around Factor at the moment.

I agree with Bardet. French cycling media are so desperate for a Tour winner they put the pressure of the world on talented young riders shoulders who then can't quite manage to live up to the hype.

Bardet, Pinot, Alaphilippe, Sicard, Barguil, Rolland etc etc etc. Seixas could be the same.
🇫🇷 Romain Bardet warns to cool 🇫🇷 Paul Seixas pressure

“There's a certain frenzy that worries me a little, given the incredibly demanding nature of it for young athletes.”

After some good news earlier in the week for Fernando Gaviria 🇨🇴 as he signs for Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, he has some rather bad news.

The Colombian sprinter has been handed a 2 month suspended prison sentence for driving 5x over the legal drink drive limit. Not good!

Fantastic to see Ben Granger 🇬🇧 get a move to Solutions Tech-Vini Fantini for 2026.

He has taken some great results including wins at last year's Lancaster GP and this year's CiCLE Classic, Firenze-Empoli, Giro del Montalbano as well as 3rd at Coppa Sabatini just 8" behind Isaac del Toro 🇲🇽!

The news that it seems Paramount+ have bought UEFA Champions League rights from 2027/28 to 2030/31 may not sound relevant to cycling fans.

However, Paramount+ are apparently expected to be buying Warner Bros. Discovery+. Could this see yet more changes to the streaming platform for cycling fans?

Fantastic to see Lloyd's National Road Series winner, Adam Howell 🇬🇧, get a move to Bourg-en-Bresse Ain Cyclisme for the 2026 season.

What a year he had winning Tour of the Reservoir, East Cleveland Classic, Kennel Hill Classic, Peaks 2 Days S1, l'Estivale Bretonne Youth and Tour de la Manche S3.

Four bits of news I've seen in the last couple of days:

Assos leaves Tudor as official clothing brand 🇨🇭

Fernando Gaviria 🇨🇴 joins Caja Rural-Seguros RGA after Movistar departure

Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe sign Haimer Etxeberria 🇪🇸 from Kern Pharma

One thing we can be sure of is that Ineos Grenadiers will do a classy looking French champs kit

One thing I've learnt from watching the African Championships is that Ethiopia 🇪🇹 have some fantastic riders coming up through the ranks.

Some very impressive performances by both men and women fron juniors to elite. They have some special talents that could flourish given the right chances.

A fantastic day of racing with Merhawi Kudus 🇪🇷 taking the win ahead of Awet Aman 🇪🇷 and Oussama Abdellah Mimouni 🇩🇿.

The U23 title taken by Aman 🇪🇷 with Mimouni 🇩🇿 in 2nd and Samuel Niyonkuru 🇷🇼 managing 3rd after crashing earlier in the race covering him in dust and dirt.

A pleasure to commentate on.

It's my dad's favourite day today, it's Stir Up Sunday! The day you traditionally make the Christmas pudding and get the whole family to stir the mixture... Hopefully all the blender stuff will be done before I start commentating today 😂

Is Remco the current version of Wiggins and Dumoulin? Strong climbers but they really need long TTs to dominate Grand Tours.
🇧🇪 Evenepoel on 40km 🇮🇹 Giro TT rumour

"An effort of at least 45 minutes, tailor-made for me. That's already a good start, a step in the right direction. But we still want to wait for the official presentation ... before defining our ambitions"

A rather surreal moment for me as my commentary is broadcast live at the finish line in Kwale, Kenya 🇰🇪!
November 22, 2025 at 2:59 PM
I'm live on SuperSport Africa and the SuperSport app from 15:10 🇰🇪 time (12:10 🇬🇧 time).

Not sure if it is available in the UK or Europe as a whole, but it is apparently on the SuperSport app, so have a look around.

Should be a good day of racing with the women's Elite and U23 titles up for grabs.
