Wow, hello everybody!

I woke up today to a LOT of new followers, so I thought I'd make a quick introductory post to let y'all know more about me.

Back on the 'other site' I mostly posted about urban issues, Magic: the Gathering, Roller Derby, equity, and - in the summer - baseball. 1/

(I was debating whether to capitalise 'Limited' in 'limited gameplay'. But you know what? Both work)
theterroirist.bsky.social
The problem is limited gameplay.

Small sets worked when they were designed to play in Limited with Large and/or multiple sets - you're opening less packs, so you're not seeing the same cards as often, and a smaller card pool is fine when it's part of a larger whole.

I mean, ish. But also, they specify 'negative influencer reaction' and not just 'influencer opinions' which means if they get a lot of 'negative reactions improved my viewpoint' results, they're probably just going to ignore those, rather than thinking it's genuine.

May the light of Diwali bring peace and joy to you and your family. <3

Exactly what I was thinking, yeah. Glowing/neonesque White/Blue/Red/Purple/Green.

Could be in the water, or on a dry patch of sewer, or even on a manhole cover.
theterroirist.bsky.social
I am a fan, but alternatively, maybe something like toxic sewer sludge forming the mana symbols?

Woof - looks like they only have them still available in 'So-I-Married-an-Axe-Murderer Giant Head' size. Whomp whomp.

Ray, did all of the Ne'erdowells in violent crime-ridden Chicago kipnap you and force you to say that Chicago is a safe and friendly place?

Blink three times if you need help.

Pro-speed advocates when fines are based on speed: "This is unfair to poor people, and won't stop rich people!"

Pro-speed advocates when you propose fines based on wealth: "No! Not like that!"

Craven makes me so upset. It's the *perfect* street for laneway housing - it's literally just backyards on one side of the road!

I'd be curious to see (although I'm sure we won't be allowed to) how many of those top 10 are the same people.

The really nice thing is that the Jays won't lose today.

Maybe they'll like that feeling, and decide to keep it going for Wednesday through Sunday as well.

I guess the next issue, rather than news, should just be wall to wall opinion pieces about how this policy is terrible, needless, and harmful?

Because marginalized people are the ones whose speech is most often disapproved of, the burden and consequences of deanonymization laws falls extremely disproportionately on them, and always will. No one should ever support mandatory age verification, ever.

This feels like an animated version of Chaplin's The Great Dictator

Two years of bloodshed to get to the place where everybody knew we'd end up.

Absolutely shameful.

Sigh.

Can't win without hitting, but hopefully next time Schneider learns his lesson about pulling Gausman early against Seattle.
theterroirist.bsky.social
Just so we're clear. Shades of '22

Post season.
Early Gausman pull.
Versus Seattle.
For a lefty.
Against a switch hitter.

Schneider just refuses to learn.

Schneider out managed himself, yet again.

Post season.
Early Gausman pull.
Versus Seattle.
Against a switch hitter.

Literally, what the f?
