I woke up today to a LOT of new followers, so I thought I'd make a quick introductory post to let y'all know more about me.

Carney really needs to wake up and stop genuflecting to the US. They're not interested in dealing with us fairly. No matter how much you give them they'll want more.

Almost half the Waymos on California streets are driving around empty. They're either waiting for the next customer or en route for a pickup.

I know the @nytimes.com is terrible in so many ways, but defining a rugby shirt as a 'stripy thing' when they come in so many different patterns is just obnoxiously bad.
I've played on lots of different teams. Most didn't even have stripes on them.

With the US in the grip of the far-right, and the UK merrily slipping that way even via "left" governments, Canada - and Canadians - need to be on guard that we keep our values even while too much of the world is turning against it.

1 - the Avatar prerelease event has pretty much entirely sold out for the entire weekend (somewhere north of 500 kits, if I had to guess)
2 - there has been an avalanche of folks picking up their kit, dropping immediately, and leaving.
