It just feels like such a simple thing. If studio time is such a drain on costs now, think what they could do. Even a Play for Today would add some lovely texture to schedules.

And, I think you can make things look pretty spectacular utilising LEDs alongside the UHD cameras. Although an audience sitcom, the way Red Dwarf XI and XII looked shows the possibilities.

Their short-term thinking with Star Wars really screwed the whole project. If they'd just given it the time to make them, like with Avatar, then it would be a better place. Instead, they strip mined it. Too much, too fast until we stopped caring.

While I'm not really on board with trying to make Tron happen, I do think Legacy was perfectly set up for a direct sequel and if they'd made that back when it was planned, it would have done just fine.

Just watched an observational sketch on TikTok from the point of view of a supermarket designer deliberately making it hard to find things... but that is what they do. They want to keep you in the shop.

The Office of Management and Budget sent a notification to Congress about their intent to use research and development funds to pay members of the military, two sources with direct knowledge tell NBC News.

A spokesperson for the OMB confirmed to NBC News that it plans to use the research and development funds and that there are two years' worth of funds available within the Department of Defense.
