A few weeks ago I saw a commercial for like genAI or sports betting or something and it was like “don’t bet against the underdog” and one of the examples they depicted was the Spartans at Thermopylae.

And like… my brother in Zeus, they lost. The were the underdogs and they FAMOUSLY lost.

First they came for Bill Belichick, and I went lol. Then they came for Robert Kraft, and once again I went lol.
From @theathletic.com: Robert Kraft, who owned the New England Patriots for each of their six Super Bowl wins, did not receive enough votes to be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Bill Belichick was not elected into the hall either.

Kraft was a finalist via the contributor committee. Belichick was a finalist via the coach committee.

Liam was taken from Columbia Heights, the town just south of my high school in Fridley and just north of the Arts district in NE Minneapolis. I spent a lot of time with friends there after extracurriculars. News of his abduction completely broke my heart. I’m glad he’s home. #Comics4Liam
