They were misusing the word ceasefire-calling for Israel to surrender unconditionally. And for Israelis to “go back where they came from” (Poland & Brooklyn). They NEVER called for the hostages to be returned or for Hamas to surrender. And they were calling Israelis evil by nature (antisemitic).

I can’t help but think today about how many young people were savaged on social media, branded as anti-semites and abandoned by their schools for daring to call for a ceasefire. I remember saying that it was the first time I can remember that calling for ceasefire was regarded as a hostile demand.

Social media like Bluesky or Twitter account for 17% of Dem voters.

The Democratic party is not monolithic.

The way it is set up to function/run by millions of volunteers in each state, each town or county, it would be close to impossible to break apart.

This is what people don't seem to get.

If men with guns and masks tried to pull me out of my car, I'd fight back. Courts should reject any claims by the government that this is aggression by the person being detained, resisting arrest, or that they're a flight risk.

I'm sorry that happened to you. Just like I'm sorry my nephew was assaulted at Columbia for wearing his star of David necklace, and threatened multiple times. There were multiple ceasefire protests in Israel. Most people I know have always supported a ceasefire.

You didn't acknowledge what happened to my nephew (which counters what you stated). Additionally, both of my alma maters lost their lawsuits, because they allowed blatant discrimination against Jewish students and professors on campus to take place.
