D woke up yesterday morning with a “dizzy” head and immediately started vomiting. Poor girl spent the entire day on the couch with rice cakes and ginger ale. She ended up crashing out and sleeping on the couch all day and most of this morning. She’s trying some plain waffles, but says she feels ok.

Instead of voting to extend ACA subsidies despite a discharge petition with enough support to force a vote, Speaker Mike Johnson adjourned the House. Their next legislative session isn’t until 1/6/26 outside of a pro forma session on Tuesday. Replace Republicans with more Democrats. It’s basic math.
