The president is such a bumbling idiot he thinks tweeting out the word "hereby" a couple times on his white supremacist social media site is the same thing as making an actual law.

If you are in any branch of the military, you should expect that someone somewhere will try to kill you. That's part of why you go through all that training, get specific uniforms, and carry weapons.
That doesn't change because you are on home soil, gun problem or not.
