Don't blame me: I'm one of the 1,843,124 people who voted Green, and particularly proud I didn't vote for Shabana Mahmood.
One of the people of Beorma and a bit sweary.
Member of the Green Party but my views are all mine.

In my pursuit of @greenparty.org.uk history I've been reading the original PEOPLE party's Manifesto for Survival from 1974.
It already includes some familiar items like no whip, localism and UBI, which it calls the National Income.

Yet another sane, sober academic telling Labour what they need to do so that Labour can ignore him.
Fascinating on issue salience and issue ownership.
Short new post from me about Bloc Politics. A lot of commentators have argued, with evidence from @profjanegreen.bsky.social, @robfordmancs.bsky.social and others, that British politics has split into blocs. So what does that mean for electoral strategy? 1/n

Monday’s got off to a great start with news that Tommy Robinson is suing Nigel Farage 🤣😂👌🏼

This is definitely a case of “may it be brutal, painful, drawn out, eye wateringly expensive and neither man win” 🍿🍿🍺😄
Tommy Robinson takes legal action against Nigel Farage over 'defamatory claims'
A far-right fall-out, you say? Tommy Robinson is pursuing a legal settlement from Nigel Farage following comments made in January.

The Spectator have not yet had a full on right wing melt down.

They're very close, though!

L'Effet Polanski is international.

Labour have lost a member every seven minutes since winning the election last year!

Good! Reform were positioning for the protest vote and trying to contain their rampant racism and far right conservatism.

The greens are offering an alternate protest vote based on hope and inclusion, I hope I know the British public would rather the latter.

I'm old enough to remember when we used to keep getting Tory government bc everyone else was divided. Now we've got 3.5 Tory parties and the entire rest of the country is standing room only in the Green Party. 🤷
If anyone’s wondering what party this prick represents
It’s the Labour Party
This dog whistle won’t attract one RW vote but will hopefully lose a fair few off the backend
Vote Green x

Labour wanted to know my priorities for Birmingham. I told them they should all have resigned in shame and I can't wait to vote them out. Of course I told them I'll be voting Green.

180k and rising!

The tired, old Business as Usual parties have failed our communities.

It's time for a politics of hope, a politics that will make people's lives better and tackle the rampant inequality in our society.

Let's make this happen together!

Found this in a recent article., addressing the post-FWS coverage of 'biological sex' in the media.

Oh no wait, I didn't - it was written by transfeminist Irene Clyde (under her male signature).

Good to see that Greens will work with aligned local parties to get an anti-racist councillor as an alternative to Reform.
