The only thing I really dislike is the start of the game can be awful to explore for the three keys if you don't really know what to do and the final boss is just so lazy that you it almost one shots you at full health and you can just heal through it

Silent Hill is a classic horror game with incredible atmosphere and sound design. It takes advantage of the limitations of the console to make the fog as iconic as it is. The camera angles are also really impressive for a PS1 era game

Spooky Season Reminder: Most "Halloween Black" food dye uses charcoal. Normally, it's safe to eat!

However:

Charcoal can NEUTRALIZE many types of medications!

If you're taking your meds (good for you!), make sure you consult your pharmacist to see if they might get neutralized!

The guy responsible for forcing horrible smeary texture filtering on by default in GZDoom has finally crossed a line that the community cannot stand. An unfortunate schism, but hopefully this means things improve faster from here!

The short version: the Gzdoom team has finally had enough of Graf Zhal's shit (including but not limited to pushing AI code into Gzdoom).

The entire team has packed up and made a new fork of Gzdoom.

I sure did! I tried to look into streaming this in a way to avoid as much combat as possible and decided it was not worth doing either. I remember wax works ended up having most of the combat in one or two scenarios though

From what I remember about these games, they have really overly complicated combat with some cool pixel art that is confusing to navigate and has too many encounters that it just kinda becomes frustrating. Shame theres no versions without combat
