On my first trip to Japan I found a run of miniature public telephones like these in a gachapon machine at a train station. When I eventually opened the one I got, I found out that instead of any of the miniature phones I got the the stand accessory.

It was spring break 2003 and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker was recently released. I stayed in and played maybe 12-ish hours a day. Soon the game was beaten, and so was my GameCube. It stopped reading discs.
Longest amount of time you played a video game before you stopped to do something else? Also what game?

Just as I'm winding down, I see there's a new Analogue 3D update with some interesting additions. So I install it and it completely garbles the UI on my system. Saw another guy on reddit post about it. Solution is to use another SD card for the firmware installation

One thing that sticks out from playing classic Ocarina of Time is that all the tribes are pluralized with and 's', like Sheikahs, Gerudos, and Zoras, as opposed to the modern usage where they're all singular form. Gorons stuck with the 's', though.

The CRT filters are making replays of N64 games so much better than I would have expected. It adds a softness that creates the illusion of a higher quality image more than a sharp high resolution tender ever could. I want this for all my retro systems.
