The thing people always leave out when complaining about Sakurai not doing in game cutscenes after Brawl is that he used the budget for the cutscenes for the character reveal trailers.

IMO that’s a much better use.

Asriel Knight is basically what happens when your brain is on game theory/fnaf theorizer mode. When stories stop being about narratives or themees and just becomes riddles to solve, puzzleboxes to bruteforce open and logbooks to be filled with lore.

The thing I dislike about number notation in fighting games is how it only takes into account facing right.

Quarter circle forward and quarter circle back are facing agnostic.

236 and 214 are swapped depending on the direction the character faces.
