One cannot blame VP Harris for believing that she played a bad hand well in 2024 and fully deserves a fresh opportunity to convince the party and country that’s she’s capable of leading us forward starting in 2028.

Very informative video…A future (late 2026) right-wing Colombian government may be torn between kowtowing to Trump (to whom they feel kinship) and defending national sovereignty…I would expect Trump to back off with some accommodation from the CO gov’t.
I first stepped foot in Colombia 25 years ago. President Petro is the first Colombian head of state to acknowledge the utter bankruptcy of the old drug war model. He initiated many changes. but his term is soon ending. I can only hope they don’t turn back the clock after his term. 👀

i think to understand the meaning of the birthright citizenship clause to the framers of the 14th amendment, you have to understand significance of dred scott to the civil war republican party. dred scott wasn't just a bad ruling, it was understood as a rejection of the declaration itself.

I wish this generation’s campaigners success on this matter. Still, a Trump/GOP victory might finally shatter the 30-year old illusion shared by many sustainable transportation advocates that reforming (rather than ending) the current federal transportation program is the preferred strategy.
The Trump administration wants to do two unbelievably dumb things that would collectively devastate mass transit in America — and be *epically bad for drivers, too,* especially in red states. Broke down the (many) problems with nuking the mass transit account and taking away flex funding.
