A lot of good games and peoples' careers died on the altar of this frankly impossible goal and players should be more mad about this than they'll probably express.
They'll feel it tho when Satya and Amy jettison Xbox en total to make room for more openai bullshit.
SCOOP: For the last two years, Microsoft has pushed Xbox to hit profit margins of 30%, an ambitious target that's far higher than the industry average.

This chase for profit has led Xbox to raise prices, cut thousands of jobs, and rethink everything.

I think this explains some of the breakdowns in Autistic vs Neurotypical communication. A lot of the time, #ActuallyAutistic moods are misinterpreted. If their mood is then affected by their interpretation, then this would explain a lot of the wild and nonsensical reactions they make.
From Gaping Void newsletter, an important reminder about behavioral contagion. It's in our DNA!

I dramatically changed my life when I changed my inputs.
I am really annoyed with a few US tabletop gaming companies.

When I can get those same books/dice/whatever flown on wings of fire from Europe for less than turtle-post from the US, it's absurd.

One even promised to lower those prices. In the beforetimes.

Still costs $80+USD to ship a $40 book.

I think it’s actually pretty important for our head of government to have highlighted that Canada is a pluralistic society centred on dense, multicultural cities.

Can someone please tell Carney?? VIA Rail is a public service and should have its own rail line and high frequency, some high speed, passenger rail service across the country. Should be one of his top priority nation-building projects.
I know I’ve said this more than once, and I know it’s really obvious, but taking the train between cities in Europe is just fantastic. So easy.

One of the dumbest mistakes North America ever made, and continues to make, is doing so relatively little with trains. Train networks are nation-building.

That month joke nearly got me suspended from Facebook.

I even posted it on the Ides of March.
As am I.

Health and the state of the world have really stolen relaxation time.
Patlabor 2 really is Oshii's best film.
Mamoru Oshii planned it. A young Satoshi Kon took the lead on its layouts. The result: a stunning moment from Patlabor 2.

We're looking inside the film's martial law sequence, including storyboards and production art:

✨New Codex Compliant✨

This time we're taking a look at the very first 40k expansion book. It's kinda weird and goofy. We love it.

So, SNOM DECT base stations make you set passwords for all users on initial boot. Great, no problem.

Except they have requirements for minimum length/complexity...and don't tell you, so you can set a pw that's less than needed . And then you can't log in.

The goal has been met! Thank you to everyone who made this happen, whether by circulating, chipping in or sharing words of support.💕 I go in for surgery tomorrow at 6am & it's a huge relief to not have to immediately worry about out of pocket medical expenses when I wake up. Mutual aid saves lives.
Apologies, somehow the original was deleted. I'm undergoing my 3rd urgent, non-elective revision spinal fusion this Oct to replace & extend my hardware. I'd appreciate any help in achieving this goal to ensure I have the resources necessary to recover safely & fully.

Forced drug treatment by the government means the Sask government thinks it should decide who has rights and when, if use of the the notwithstanding clause against trans kids wasn't already a clue.

This is another toe over the democracy line no one seems concerned about. #Sask #SkPoli
Scott Mo3 announces forced drug treatment will come this fall.

I'll bet Saskatchewans' entire deficit that alcoholics that kill mothers while driving won't be forced into treatment because half our government would be gone.

Co-op Puffed Wheat cereal used to have a recipe for meatloaf on their bags. Anyone have it written down or shareable? Cuz search is utterly useless, and I live in the land where co-op is seen as sacrilege.

If you can afford it, a *monetary* donation (it goes a lot farther!) to your local food bank would be a most excellent thing to do right now.
I want more people to care that SNAP benefits are being cut off on November 1. 40% of SNAP beneficiaries are children. This is callous and vile.

Those of you standing in long lines for municipal elections in Alberta today:

1) stay in line; your voice matters
2) the long lines are a direct consequence of the conspiracy-driven policy changes brought forward by the UCP government (and not your beleaguered election workers); be kind
I'm probably articulating this poorly. Not "using the right words." A lot of librarians, their management, and their boards are pretending to uphold the ideals of libraries and free speech, because it's socially acceptable and gives them cover to platform hate speech.

And I'm so fucking sick of it.
Thus, far-right groups are accepted for events, because to do otherwise would go against "free speech."

But anything actually cool, more than just surface-level queer-friendly, or actually leftist is negated for not meeting some bullshit metric.
But the worst part is most don't even realize. They think their cloistered/harmful views are not just normal, but CORRECT.

So they think themselves as bastions of freedom. Things they "disagree with" get more material than things they pretend to agree with.

Always a caveat, always a both sides.
