Something I have to reiterate is that you are being straight up lied to about trans people and our healthcare on an unfathomable scale, this instance reporting is already being torn to shreds by other people commenting, but the frequency of this kind of reporting is astonishing, it's neverending.
You might think from the headline that this is a story about a trans kid suffering medical consequences from a large drug dose but nope! It is just an interview with an estranged father who is angry that his child happily transitioned.

This family thought they were being added to lists to help those in need, but later found out the adoption programs never ended their information so now this disabled Black single mom doesn't have anything for the holidays.

If you can help get anything please consider doing so.

“It is no exaggeration to say that the passing of Bill 11 through the Alberta legislature is the biggest threat to our single-payer, universal Medicare system that we’ve ever seen. Not just for Albertans, but for all Canadians,” said Chris Gallaway executive director of Friends of Medicare.

Something that's so alien to me now, watching transit videos and discourse is how other people can just...grab food anywhere.

#FoodAllergies are scoffed at, ignored, and derided a lot, but they are in every sense a #Disability. I can't just travel. I can't just attend an event.

This explains so much about Thousands Sons players.
1. [character] did nothing wrong.
2. Okay, they did a lot of things wrong, but they were justified.
3. Well, it was UNDERSTANDABLE given the circumstances, right?
4. All right, it was a little fucked up.
5. Fine, it was a LOT fucked up, but it's okay because it gives me a boner.

This.

And I don't think most people understand how that supply problem creates a system that feeds on itself and amplifies the issue at hand. Nor what this means in 30 years.
sigh... we will do backflips to blame everyone and everything EXCEPT blaming municipalities for intentional, long standing policies that limit supply.

We have a supply problem. Not an immigration problem. Not a bank problem. Not a federal government problem. We don't have enough supply.

The #YQL myride site (trip planner) prioritizes short transfer windows over pretty much anything else.

Which means it routinely recommends trips that are utterly impossible barring celestial intervention.

What is with #YQR city council wanting to make their city worse?

In no foreseeable world should anyone have worse transit than Lethbridge, but Regina's sure trying hard.

Something I think libraries/schools should do more often is Model Railway clubs. All the skills and learning of a STEM program/club, plus history, and at the end of the year, you have a layout you can auction off.

As an FYI, if a game on Steam is on sale, and you already own some of the games in that series, check the bundles of the game.

Due to the way bundles/discounts work, I got the game, DLC, and the other DLC I was missing for less than the discounted price of the first game by buying the bundle.

Movie you've watched more than six time with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (either War or Trek), LOTR, or Marvel.

[...Seriously, NTs think Six times is hard, and that major franchises are all there is. Hard is norrowing it down, and finding a .gif. and fixing the shitty alt-text.]

So, the one smart home device I accepted as an IT person was the Woods WiOn power bar. It let me set timers and control lights so long as I was on my own WiFi.

So, of course, Google.needed updated somethings and Wood's couldn't be arsed to update the app, so it's useless.
