I'm very afraid for my future as a person trying to be a novelist, specifically as a WOC who does not shy away from dealing with race in my work.

Veldt is described as an "enjoyable daily raw Puer" and I would certainly agree! Smooth and barely astringent with a strong floral flavor. Easy to sip with strong flavor throughout a long session. I got 12 steeps and easily could have gone longer.

Today's tea is a 2022 Veldt from White2tea while scheduling #writingabtwriting posts. I picked up the coin bag from them and I'm really happy with the selection and variety, though I wish it came with an explainer on the varieties they included. But I'm having fun trying them all.

Lovely.

I might give it a few frames stopped at the top of the pan to let the clouds go by before resetting, but overall it's a really delightful effect and I eagerly look forward to more.
