If you think they can be reformed, ask your family how they would feel if they never saw you today.

This is a really sick story.

From everything I know, Boston’s Logan Airport is a legitimately dangerous place to travel through.

Brazil approves the first vaccine against dengue. The disease killed 6000 Brazilians in 2024.

This is a really remarkable achievement. I got dengue in 2015, and even with the mild case I had, it was a really miserable experience.

The thing about this common midwit take is that actual smart activists like @prisonculture.bsky.social use USian in the course of their actual work while arrogant keyboard warriors complain about words they don't like to hear and think they've said anything worth listening to
If your argument involves referring to Americans as “USians” it doesn’t matter how cogent the rest of your point may be tbh

Many of you are aware that NSF has terminated DDRIs for anthropologists and archaeologists. This is obviously a blow to these fields. It means we need to be proactive in revising expectations and training programs. This sort of thing reminds us again how important it is to be able to pivot.

Dear foreign nationals in war-torn countries, terrorism hot-spots, and amidst our enemies:

If you help the United States, we’ll fuck you over and abandon you. Not the individual servicepeople or intelligence officers — they’ll fight for you. I mean the depraved, soulless leadership of the nation.
So now they’re going to be doing individualized re-review of tens of thousands of Afghan evacuees’ cases on TOP of the re-review of 200,000+ refugees who entered under Biden?

This right here is everything I love about bluesky
worst forest/trees problem in generations is that a canto is A SECTION OF A LONG POEM. THAT'S IT. YOU DIDN'T WRITE A CANTO BECAUSE YOU THOUGHT THE WORD LOOKED COOL ON YOUR MEMOIR. CANTOS ARE POEMS. THAT LANGUAGE IS DYNAMIC DOES NOT MAKE YOUR SLAMBOOK A CANTO AMERICAN OR OTHERWISE

I think we can safely say that the Leavitt's brother called ICE on his ex, the mother of his child, and I have to say: I have no desire to respect, find common ground or share the country with these monsters.
“After Ferreira was detained, Dos Santos Rodrigues said Michael Leavitt Sr. and his father, Bob Leavitt, reached out to her.”

“‘They just kept saying, ‘Tell her to self-deport,’” she recalled. “Self-deport to where? Brazil is not her home.’” www.bostonglobe.com/2025/11/26/m...
