Of course immigration is an issue. The issue is that people have the freedom of travel and nations are made up of nothing but groups of people united by a common misunderstanding of their history and a common dislike of their neighbors and immigrants are the lifeblood of a living growing culture.

Look at this. Just look at this.

Hateful voices from the Stone Age, screaming desperately against science and modern understanding of a perfectly natural human variation, like petulant, spoilt brats throwing a nasty tantrum after being told the kids they dislike are still allowed in the playground.
"gender ideology is anti-gravity nonsense that only the desperate, the deluded and the double-dealing grifters still believe": just in case you were still wondering quite how consumed with hatred are Hadley Freeman and The Sunday Times.

Video of this train in Belgium spray painted with a message calling Israel a ‘terrorist state’ has gone viral online. Earlier this year, the Belgian government imposed sanctions and an arms embargo on Israel, before the Gaza ceasefire which Israel has violated nearly 500 times.

The saying goes, you can con a honest person, but it takes more work. And Trump has always been a minimum effort manipulator. He'll take whoever falls for his lies, take whatever they're willing to give and move on to the next grift cause people are nothing but resources for him to use.
Are you MAGAs confused? Mamdani in the White House?
Let me clear up your confusion. You were never part of the grift. You have always been, just another stupid MARK for Trump to exploit. MAGA isn't real. Never was. You can't con an honest person, so you lying sacks were the real targets all along.

Thank you again to everyone out there! Another year down, another million raised, and so many people who will be helped because of what you've done with us this year and every other! We couldn't do this without you, and through all the laughs and the tears, we wouldn't want it any other way...

We hit our 100th $5 donation last night so I’ll be making the $500 matching donation as promised in the next day or two. If anyone else would like to join me in my matching donation I wouldn’t say no 😛 desertbus.org

And thanks to everyone who’s donated so far! We’re already over $5000!!! 🥳
And to spice it up just a little bit, I will match the first 100 donations of $5USD exactly that are made before the start of the run. Obviously it’ll be great if we get more, but I figure that’s likely what my goof would have cost me 😃.

So head over to desertbus.org and get those $5 donations in!

Still thinking about Zohran’s full-throated defense of immigration and how long i’ve waited for it. No bullshit about border security or “legal” immigrants but just unabashed support for immigrants. How many people feel so much more seen today? I know I do. 1/

This Palestinian man shed tears of joy upon finding his home in northern Gaza still standing.

Thousands of Palestinians are returning mostly to rubble in the north, following the pullback of Israeli forces under the ceasefire terms.

"Why aren't the Free Palestine people cheering about the ceasefire?"

If you saw a man beating a child into a coma, would you cheer after the beating stopped? No, your first reaction would be horror at what happened and your second would be fear that he'll attack the kid again.

Nah, they're not going to make peace before they've killed or chased away every single Palestinian from Palestine. A hundred years later they'll apologize by naming an attack helicopter after them and that will be that. Unless they want some more land.
Today marks the two-year anniversary of the horrific October 7 attack.

As we mourn the 1,218 lives lost that day, let us also keep alive the dream of a lasting peace and a better future for all.

Ceasefire now. Every hostage must come home. And a safer world for everyone.

If they had a vote today, would the backwards, poorly educated, plagued by deadly violence, barely industrialized aside from banking and movies, no healthcare except for rich people, apartheid dictator state USA ever get a seat in the United Nations?
Full membership of the UN is granted by a vote of the General Assembly, upon recommendation of the Security Council.

The UK’s move today, and that of France this week, means the only permanent member opposed to Palestine’s membership is the United States.

"Inflation-weary shoppers." I worry there's a significant portion of liberal middle class people who actually don't comprehend the idea that you can not have enough money to buy food; who think "not having money" means needing to liquidate investments or taking loans at suboptimal rates.
