Must-read report bringing into full focus the magnitude and harm of the MAGA assault on Black America.
The harm is real: Black workers pushed out of jobs, HBCUs stripped of resources, Black mothers and fathers denied healthcare, and neighborhoods left without protection from floods, asthma, or poisoned water.

JD Vance’s “kids tell stupid jokes” defence of the Young Republicans Telegram story by @politico.com rings hollow and disingenuous as fuck for a couple reasons, not the least of which being that YR is for the 18 – 40 age cohort. These assholes are ✨ADULTS✨, not children, not “kids.” Fuck this.

it’s one of the reasons I wish there was a little less of a left-liberal circular firing squad On Here, I understand that there are extremely annoying folks on the internet but if you have a conversation with normal offline libs they are emphatically not the problem

the Booker interview with the older white ladies from the other day where they tore him to shreds for collaborating is the tip of the iceberg

many conversations I have had with complete normie libs, the kind who have a tote bag from donating to NPR and shop at Whole Foods, involve the kind of rhetoric that under no circumstances should be put on the internet

people are very mad
look i was recently talking to a septuagenarian life long dem (who shall remain nameless) and generic lib, and she was like “i just think there should be firing squads and they should sell tickets.”

All these "AI will replace teachers" pieces envision a caricature of a system that doesn't exist and pretend that techbros have invented a thing that has been around for centuries.

"The robot will explain X to students in writing!"
So, a book. An unreliable, ephemeral, environmentally costly book.

Knowledge has been effectively free since widespread support of public libraries in the 19th century. Students have been able to check out books and learn material on their own for longer than higher ed as we know it has existed. Profs have never been merely content delivery vectors.
Wow. Just wow.

"Students pay premium prices for information that AI now delivers instantly and for free. A business student can ask ChatGPT to explain supply chain optimization or generate market analysis in seconds. The traditional lecture-and-test model faces its Blockbuster moment."

I cannot believe that the next mayor of New York City is not only someone who I deeply admire and I share the vast majority of beliefs and policy preference with... but it also a complete dork with the same goofy sense of humor as me

NYC deserves nice things and Zohran is like the Nicest Thing
An important message to the people of New York City.

89.

89.

That's how many murders there have been in London in the last twelve months. A city of more than 9million people that everyone keeps saying is a lawless hell hole.

Might be due to the fact that the press don't like that our mayor isn't a nice white Christian boy.

Just sayin'.

This is shameful and un-American. The people have a right to ask what their military is doing, and we shouldn’t have to buy just the official line.
A screenshot of an X.com post by @phildstewart
, Phil Stewart, stating, "As of today, America no longer has a resident press corps at the Pentagon. Here is the statement from the Pentagon Press Association. Please read and share," with a profile picture of a man wearing sunglasses outdoors.
A statement from the Pentagon Press Association (PPA) dated October 15, 2025, featuring the PPA logo with a pentagon and red background. The statement reads: "Today, the Defense Department confiscated the badges of the Pentagon reporters from virtually every major media organization in America. It did this because reporters would not sign onto a new media policy over its implicit threat of criminalizing national security reporting and exposing those who sign it to potential prosecution. The Pentagon Press Association's members are still committed to reporting on the U.S. military. But make no mistake, today, Oct. 15, 2025 is a dark day for press freedom that raises concerns about a weakening U.S. commitment to transparency in governance, to public accountability at the Pentagon and to free speech for all."

Since we can’t rely on the HHS, CDC, or FDA to say it, I will:

MAKE SURE YOU ARE VACCINATED AGAINST MEASLES. GET YOUR MMR.

Measles cases have reached their HIGHEST point since the disease WAS ELIMINATED from the United States in 2000. We are at the tipping point for the return of ENDEMIC measles.

The Trump regime has run out of excuses for the government shutdown, so they’re now blaming the vast majority of Americans who simply wish to preserve democracy.

See you on Saturday at a NoKings.org protest—the tides are turning.

Trump’s throwing a full-blown fit over the upcoming No Kings protests. His MAGA allies are raging, calling attendees “terrorists” and “Marxists.”

The coordination screams Stephen Miller panic mode.

But it’s backfiring: Democrats are fired up and turnout’s likely to surge. #NoKings

It's clear what they're trying to do. Fortunately, not a soul in history has felt intimidated by Ted Cruz.
Cruz: Follow the money. Cut off the money. You look at this No Kings rally—there’s considerable evidence that George Soros and his network is behind funding these rallies which may well turn into riots.

I've introduced legislation that would allow DOJ to use RICO to prosecute the money that is funding these No Kings Protests

Trump’s power depends on maintaining the illusion that he’s all-powerful, and that Americans adore him.

But that illusion is harder to maintain if millions of people are in the streets protesting.

This is why Republicans are trying to discredit No Kings Day rallies before they've even happened.
