Legacy did $410M on a $170M budget so if you take the *very general* thought process of budget x2 being the true break even point, then yeah it should have made Disney some money. I'm sure they got a decent cut of the OST after Daft Punk's share, and TV/streaming revenue.

But yeah not a huge hit.

I mean I know WHY it was remade, because audiences keep rewarding major studios for overall lazy remakes and reboots. I just wish they would have tried to do something a little different to make it a unique experience from the source material.
