I’m thinking of getting Ruth a sister in the new year. She has a reputation as a spicy cat but she’s actually really cuddly and playful ( when not sleeping) with her family. Thing is she has a very narrow definition of family, which worries me.

I tried taking a photo of my chokecherry tree. Every day it loses a couple more leaves and soon will be just a bare branch. Easy to see for me. But the phone photo through my screened window with the red twigged dogwood behind is impossible to distinguish as anything other than a bunch of sticks.
