the impression grows that he or they were up to something unspeakable while people choked on mud and that she's terrified of having to talk about that afternoon under oath. This is the moderate, sensible PP beloved of the FT and Economist. And remember, the real problem is Sánchez's glasses

the softly , softly, arrests in six months time approach won't have therequired deterrent effect to stop these savages
How nice! I was looking at places in Benicarló and Peñiscola, but a bit far to travel.....for now 😉

Not going to gunk up your feed with racist screenshots, but it’s notable that Twitter’s algorithm is currently amplifying Christian and Nazi-adjacent white women influencers wearing blackface and commenting on EBT.
Inherited a little money so buying old flats on the Costa Brava and doing them up 🙂 Honestly, it's made me so grateful I was made redundant 🤣🤣
One of the reasons I've left tech is that every CEO now is just looking to survive the next quarter. Nothing works, nothing is being created, and no-one cares. Testing is dead, and products are getting worse. A dead industry.
The speed at which the user experience of the world’s biggest products are being totally trashed by their owners is absolutely head spinning.

Doesn't make any sense. The Aztecs were brutal colonists, and 40,000 Mayans joined with Cortez tiny, tiny army to defeat them. The Spanish didn't even destroy Tenochtitlan, the Tlaxcalans did. And if we're doing reparations from 500 yes ago the Muslims must owe Spain a LOT!!! 🤷

This couple walked 16 km from the frontline village of Tors'ke to the town of Lyman. The russian fascist invaders destroyed their home with artillery bombardments. They hid in their basement without food for three day, then walked to safety.

Police picked them up on the road.

🚨Wow - this will be huge if it bears out. Exit polls show the pro-EU D66 party has WON the Dutch election.

The far-right PVV party of Geeet Wildsrs has lost 12 seats, according to exit polls.

Huge if true.
Someone just mentioned @benstiller.redhour.com and it reminded me, I reckon I think about "while we're young" about once a week. No other film has come anywhere near capturing the digital era. It's an astonishing film if you haven't seen it!

Politico: "Reform UK will hold its third press conference in three days at 10 am. Head of policy Zia Yusuf and welfare spokesperson Lee Anderson will pledge £32 billion of cuts to disability benefit PIP"

Why so many press conferences?

Answer: Because they know the broadcasters will keep showing up
Agreed. Spain has the highest growth of any major economy last couple of years, and it's mostly come from membership of the EU, very cheap energy (due to years of developing green energy), and lots of immigrants. UK has done none of the above.

Vamos como ahora, pero sin coger el teléfono.
En resumen, que están preguntando a sus bases si pueden trabajar menos aún.
They should be calling Farage "Brexit boy" , a nazi, a fascist, every day. They should be going at him and Badenoch hard, every single day. Call them traitors, threaten to lock them up, the whole works. The old rules are gone.
I don't think Labour have grasped that all the old rules are gone. If the Tories and Reform can promise to report millions of legal residents, all bets are off. Labour are free to make outrageous promises, but right now, they're too soft to fight the fascists.
If people like Farage and Badenoch want to make the next UK election existential for legal residents, one of the political parties should make it existential for THEM, i.e. "If we win, Farage and Badenoch are deported to Ascension Island" Make them feel the fear!!

It speaks volumes about the dire state of British politics that an MP can say that she gets mad about seeing Black and Asian people in adverts on TV and she hasn't immediately been expelled from her party - a party that hopes to form the next Govt.

The unwillingness of a great many people to call racism racism because doing so is seen as rude or uncivil is hugely problematic.

Nothing on the BBC Radio news this morning. Nothing I could find on their website. This is an MP from the party whose lead in the opinion polls normally ensures them wall-to-wall coverage. She spouts racist nonsense for which even she feels obliged to apologise. What on earth are they playing at?

we're going to have a mad US military adventure against either Vzla or Colombia quite soon. I can already see Pete trying to convince the generals and admirals he hasn't fired yet that it'll be piss easy
