Musk’s Grokipedia isn’t purging propaganda — it’s producing it. The AI encyclopedia praises white nationalists, sanitizes Holocaust denial, & revives racist pseudoscience. As @heidibeirich.bsky.social warns, it’s “another example of Musk proliferating hateful disinformation & far-right propaganda.”
White nationalist talking points and racial pseudoscience: welcome to Elon Musk’s Grokipedia
World’s richest person wanted to ‘purge’ propaganda from Wikipedia, so he created a compendium of racist disinformation

Just the president of the United States rationalizing that a Washington Post reporter was basically asking to be murdered and cut to pieces with a bone saw because of his reporting.

As he sits next to the thug who ordered it.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

MTG lies like she breathes. It comes so naturally to her she doesn’t even realize that she’s doing it. She led a harassment campaign against AOC and others. She can live (or not) with the world she built.
No one should have to face such threats.

It would’ve been nice if Greene had realized this before she amplified and endorsed calls for executing Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama.

The Heritage Foundation, which is staffing the US presidential administration, has spent the past two weeks mainstreaming actual neo-Nazis into American public life, and much of the American Jewish establishment is panicking about a Muslim mayor of New York City.

Hurting the Airlines was the final straw.
Tonight’s Senate vote on the federal government shutdown should have been a time for strength.

Instead we saw capitulation and a betrayal of working Americans.

The American people need more from their leaders.

O'Leary and friends are looking for the good ole boy network.
Canadian multimillionaire and Shark Tank guy Kevin O'Leary went on TV to say he's upset Zohran won't talk to him: "I and others who invest in real estate have tried to get a meeting to figure out what's rhetoric and what's policy. So far for me it's been crickets."

It actually is mind blowing to check out X and see what is essentially 4chan which is also populated with politicians, media figures, "thought leaders" etc.

A dystopian horror, really. Where neo-Nazis now have equal standing with mainstream leaders. There is a reason Fuentes is now so mainstreamed.
The authoritarian takeover of X was a harbinger of the regime’s strategy for America at large.

Bluesky is a perfectly adequate refuge for X exiles. The biggest problem with Bluesky is that so many political and media elites are still on X. That’s not Bluesky’s fault—it reflects poorly on the elite.

Republican business leaders love Trump’s anti-regulatory message because they often profit from lying to their customers. They want to protect *their* right to do whatever they want with total impunity, while denying the rest of us the right to know what we’re paying for and putting in our mouths.

Great. What's the enforcement? Who is going to stop ICE from doing these things - or arrest/stop them if they do?

We're living in a post-judicial world with a 34 time felon in the white house and these judges are acting a rogue agency is going to govern itself.

“You can’t shoot ‘em in the head (with pepper balls),” Judge Ellis said. “You can’t deploy tear gas. You can’t use flash-bang grenades. You can’t drive a car through a crowd.”

This has always been part of the GOP playbook: Downplay incidents of right-wing violence, and then repurpose them as supposed acts of leftist terrorism for public consumption. They first did this in 2020.
Bondi: "We've been living through a horrific cycle of political violence in this country ... night after night antifa wrecks havoc on the streets of our cities. In Minnesota, a gunman murdered a state lawmaker and her husband."
