It’s hard to believe but there was a cartoon about an immigrant mouse and it was seen as totally fine and not controversial and not woke because it was an aspirational and nice thing about America that people could come here and find a better life

New idea: Whenever your device loses network connection while you are in a video call, a notification pops up that says "you're gonna lose connection in 3... 2... 1..." so you can let the other party know, that you're gonna be gone for a few seconds and they can stop taking. #totallyPossible

I am fully convinced that leaving the webcomic scene on the height of my success for a year or so, just to work solo on the #animation movie that I've dreamt of since I was an embryo, will turn out to be the best decision any person has ever made since the invention of pesto.

I'm going to be honest here, I think AI is going to do so much damage to the usable internet that even after it's inevitably crashes out, it's going to take years to disentangle from every space it's polluted, like digital asbestos it's gonna be time consuming effort and likely expensive venture.
I think AI is going to eventually tank in the longterm, but...
the only real way to combat this is single-interest communities. Forums, user comms, etc, with a barrier to entry. They become trustable knowledgebases. It's really the only way forward is to return to what worked best the first time

The real reason Trump and Elon are having beef is that the combo of Catturd/Elon were promised the Big Beautiful Bill would include a Cruisn' USA re-release with the Cybertruck as a selectable vehicle.....but then Trump reneged on the deal.
