It also feels like Mimiko might’ve had the most frightening outward appearance (might always have played violently, might’ve done some accidental killings even, yk?) and Nanako being the more talkative twin who puts herself in front might have everything to do with that history

One wonders if the phone screen is actually a limiting factor? Keeping her from messing with anything outside the frame, having something external from her own mind defining the parameters?

On the other hand I am fascinated by the broad range of possibilities for what was going on with Nanako before she was channeling through a tool. She seems able to manipulate at minimum space / the location of things in space? There must be stepping stones to putting that through a tool

Nanako and Mimiko focusing their techniques through objects has me thinking about what they looked like untrained. Mimiko would’ve almost certainly had some kind of toys as a child that would work just as well, and I’m kind of willing to theorize her technique might’ve presented itself more easily

Mai doesn't technically NEED to use an object, the gun is how she's chosen to work with what she has (and she can create objects). Miwa, sword. Maki, needs cursed weapons, outlier but will be counted. Nobara, nails. Mimiko, rope and plushies. Nanako, phone. oh my god?

I can't recall, off the dome, if Kirara is a woman or nonbinary, but Kirara doesn't need an object! In my brain I remember Kirara being a woman but it has been a LONG time since I was reading JJK.

yesterday when I posted this I didn't bother with explaining why I picked Momo for #1 shop steward out of the whole of 1-A. the reasons are 1) everyone will feel able to come to her 2) exceptional at studying and applying study in context 3) will not leave a stone unturned in helping a coworker
