Did he survive? Because if not you should be careful posting about this on the Internet. 😳
Wow, Soros must've had to take out a second mortgage!
MSNBC captured the crowd from the Boston "No Kings" rally:
Why am I picturing him in a superhero costume as "the incredible Oblivious Man"?
I think it'd be an interesting thought experiment to game out a scenario where it's more cost effective to invade a country and steal their windmills than it would be to build your own windmills.

this isn't hyperbole. they're bragging about making these accounts on twitter to "make all the liberals cry".

the us government social media accounts are run by 4channers. just block and go about your day.
The social media accounts are run by a bunch of 4chan trolls on a group chat. They're thinking of this like a Habbo Hotel raid. Just block 'em.
oh I just now connected (after re-reading The Tithe) that the Thornwatch is summoned via birch trees specifically. Oh. OHHHHH.
Unless he moves someplace without sidewalks or streets I just don't see this fixing the problem.
AaaaaaAAAAA!

I hope there's a little lore dump coming with this. My understanding was that the Thornwatch were mortal men that got summoned by Eyrewood magic but are they more like ghosts? Or is this a special Thornwatch prestige class?
You can get a used GoPro for about $40, and they're specifically built for durability and hands-free recording.
Deportation is only for speech that's *against* genocide.
Maybe Lurie asked on the billionaire groupchat?
I was married but I'm not married any more. Women don't like the vehicle.
They've had more than two decades to perfect a system that maximizes anxiety and frustration for all involved -- why would they start messing with that now?
It's entirely possible to read a book without chewing it to pieces! I don't understand at all the premise that a book ceases to be "pristine" after it's read. I own books that I've had since childhood and have reread dozens of times, and they remain intact and unstained.
A thing I learned doing family research is that old directories would have everyone's business address right next to their home address, I guess so if you were trying to call on someone during business hours you knew where to go?
If you told this person that there used to be a book, published annually and given away for free, listing every person who lived in your town by last name alphabetically, including their street address and telephone number, a book everyone voluntarily sent their info to, they would not believe you.
Like... imagine a world where we'd had 3 different Dem presidents in a row. Wouldn't a socialist primary candidate have a much easier time in an environment where razor's-edge "purple" states weren't even a concern?
The fundamental problem, I think, is the belief that losing elections to Republicans will push centrist Dems to the left. If you believe that, surrender can seem like a sound long-term strategy.

The problematic part is that so far this has never worked and seems unlikely to ever work.
Many years ago I tried this game with my wife, who had no prior TTRPG experience, and we had a lot of fun with it. It's the kind of thing you can play over drinks at the pub, as we did, and I imagine it'd be a great party game at the right kind of party.
Tis the season! The spooky season. Murderous Ghosts is a great one-shot for 2 to 20 players. You're a resourceful urban explorer, lost in a haunted building. Can you find your way out before the ghosts find you? Outlook uncertain!

I sense this is gonna be the perfect companion piece to that Behind the Bastards series on Himmler.
reading through this thread where it's increasingly clear the judge is fed up with this shit and then getting to this line
I can almost guarantee they'll try what the cops in SF did when we had a reform DA -- do a "blue flu" and convince the voters crime is up because of woke.

Difference will be that the mayor, unlike the DA, can exert direct control over the PD if necessary...
When Elon said USAID was a "ball of worms," I am certain that he was thinking of the people it served as being the "worms". Vermin who needed to be wiped off the earth. He didn't do this through mere incompetence.
That's a little more than UC, but still cheaper than any daycare we looked at in our neighborhood. 🙃
