I’m not saying it has parity.

But in terms of these absurd visa requirements, they fail to pay due attention to even UK residents.

But, it needs to be recognised that there are other functional and viable first languages in the UK.

There is a dark history of English rulers trying to eradicate the identities of wales etc. the language especially.

True, but being able to speak a secondary language for day to day life is different.

I have family who speak Welsh as a first language in the UK, but know English for day to day life too.

Welsh is a first language in some parts of Patagonia

I know it isn't the important point and I know it's tedious to repeat this but really - the Welsh language has equal status in Wales and government press offices should regularly get this right.

Yeah, it’s less a dependency, more than I am full of potent chemicals that have interactions they may need to consider.

The point is that just because someone is wrong does not mean it must be corrected.

The “debunk” framing doesn’t improve the quality of the points being made, it detracts from them with the aggravation that results.

The irony is that today is also International E-Waste Day. Wonder how much this will contribute to the pile.
