If the lobby hacks were very willing to participate in a fraud this obnoxious and insulting, then we should ask: what else did they treat as extremely important and/or concerning, while fully understanding it was fraudulent drivel? It seems unlikely you reach that level of complicity as a one-off.

I suspect most of this will be met with yawns by people insisting it’s old news, even the bits that are about literally breaking the law. The details are embarrassing because all the lads knew what was happening: the people doing it are barely able to stop bragging about it.

Job market feels so cooked. Just saw a job with another employer, 10% lower pay, (I'm not on great money as it is), lower jobtitle, they want an experienced hire, degree, experience in their sector, "knowledge of neuromuscular disease research", preferably multilingual 💀

A couple of weeks ago I saw my old employer hiring for my boss’s old job starting at 12k less than I know she was on when she started… and 5k less than what I left on.

Harborne's lawyers did not give substantive answers to questions about why he went on the trip to Ukraine, beyond saying they “appear to have little to no basis in reality”. But there are possible clues in the leaked files.
The itinerary features a "closed meeting at the military-tech R&D centre". It does not say whether Harborne attended, but this is an area he knows well. While his position as the largest shareholder in QinetiQ, with 13%, does not give him a role in the day-to-day running of the privatised research unit of the UK armed forces, his financial stake in its operations is significant. QinetiQ has interests in Ukraine, albeit not its biggest. Ukraine's forces reportedly use the company's Banshee drones and bomb-disposal robots. In April 2025, the UK Ministry of Defence announced QinetiQ would help Ukraine's military make kit with 3D printers.
Johnson refers to the trip in one of the Boris Files' more mysterious documents. Dated 23 October 2023, the month after the visit, it is a letter carrying his signature. It really is infuriating that our politics has been mutilated to accommodate these crimes and ensure no negative consequences for the people who facilitated it. If the system won’t punish these people then the public has to instead, at every election for the rest of their lives, if necessary.

Yup - NATO membership is still a sacred cow, and many on the left regurgitate stale arguments in defence of it that boil down to "we need NATO because are the ontologically good (ie white) guys, surrounded by swarthy Oriental Despotism and Savage Natives" and that's as far as the thinking goes

There’s also a definitional sleight of hand that so many subconsciously fall for, and that’s ’the US is our friend’, considering the UK state synonymous with its citizens/them. No, US and UK elites have aligned interests, and these interests include YOUR oppression. In fact, it’s non-negotiable.

Indeed are just comically bad. I’m now only subscribed to their job postings for entertainment value. On a more serious note though, yes, the job market in anything creative is just biblically bad. Worst I’ve ever seen it in 20 years. By far. Those farming jobs actually looked tempting 6 months ago.

I was literally thinking exactly this. JC was keen to announce every single jump in ‘sign-ups’ but not a peep on actual memberships. I’d bet my house (if I had one) it’s because the 900,000 sign-ups turning into xxx memberships ratio is not good. This post shows desperation & is not a good look.
