1. This is a fake problem. There aren't any trans women in NWSL. There aren't any trans women in the immediate pipeline that I'm aware of.

It’s not just MLS - I’m increasingly convinced soccer will “fail” because at this moment when U.S.-based fans love it more than ever, there is a rapidly shrinking media ecosystem covering the sport. We are screwed

If, like me, you need to listen to some real bummercore music, Cate Le Bon’s new album is terrific. It’s all mid-tempo, mid-tonal, like a sound bath full of sad vibes. Having said that, it’s not a dirge, it’s not despairing, it even has a few brighter moments. But it’s bummercore, for sure.
