liberals are like "it's actually the ones who walk away from Omelas who are to blame for what's happening to that kid"

this story is fucked on its own but the article ends with a spokesperson from DHS repeating the same blatantly absurd fascistic talking points they always spew, and goddamn is it bleak out here rn
She dubbed the protesters "Antifa domestic terrorists and anti-ICE rioters" and claimed they were staging "die-ins" by lying naked in the street to block roads near the federal facility, seemingly referencing the group of naked bike riders who pedaled past the building
Sunday.
"These unsightly tactics won't stop us or slow us down - our law enforcement will continue to remove murderers, pedophiles, rapists, gang members, and terrorists out of our country," McLaughlin said. "This chaos and violence will end under President Trump.
Law and order will prevail."

I don’t know why you never criticize the mindless hordes of decomposing zombie orcs currently ravaging the castle; all I ever hear you talk about is how “Gordathan the Lazy is doing a bad job guarding the gates”, even though Gordathan is *on your side*.

i remember being in computer lab in 9th grade and the teacher said "ok class, we don't use ask jeeves anymore, we use google dot com."

there's a timeline where she fell in a hole on the way to school and we have communism

Al Overview
You can't completely turn off Google's Al, but you can limit its presence by changing your search settings or by using workarounds. To remove Al Overviews in your browser, you can either click the "Web" filter in search results, use a Chrome setting to add and default a
"Google Web" search engine, or go to Google Labs and turn off the "Al Overviews and more" toggle. To disable the Google Assistant

to be more precise (for others):

dune is a famously difficult book to get into, but (imo) it starts to click after you get oriented and then it flows a lot better

the unique and its property (aka the ego and its own) is split into two halves and the second is much more clear than the first

interesting picks because for both the issue is usually getting through the first hundred pages, not finishing them

because unlike eliminating all the jobs if we found out what seagulls and raves are saying the economy would collapse

anyway it's perfectly fine to not read far leftist and anarchist theory but don't pretend you know what it says

fun to just skip over the blatantly untrue foundation of the post being discussed and instead reassert its conclusion but this time with no foundation at all!

A nasty piece of filth, in the way that only seventies exploitation-horror can really be.
Even though it's Wes Craven doing my favorite sub-genre, End-of-the-Sixties, I was left cold by this bleak and unpleasant film, though it has some moments. Of a piece with the reactionary Manson mythology and the belief that the sixties ended because of some kind of nihilist rot at the center of youth culture, rather than a wave of state repression and the collapse of international movements: the cities really are dangerous, the youth really are deranged queer maniacs, and the rot is eating the suburban middle-class parents alive too.
TLDR: OK boomer
