I’m seeing Cannibal Corpse with Municipal Waste on Tuesday in Raleigh. Although I’ve seen CC numerous time ms I’m very excited because my best friend is attending and seeing them for the first time.

This Austrian band is described as gothic black metal but there some industrial, post punk, and death metal influences as well. They have released 10 albums in the past 10 years and these two are among my favorites. They definitely have a unique sound.

In martial arts class this evening our iron body training was taken to a new level. We did our usual repetitive strikes to the stomach and throat, but also used wooden sticks to strike our ulnas, ribs, clavicles, and skull.
