it’s just misogyny. she’s not a Good Person by any means but the vitriol she gets isn’t logical critiques of the shitty stuff she’s done and said, it’s just misogyny. there are so many legendary frontmen in rock who have done truly EVIL things and none of them get the hate she does.

it’s because people hate Courtney Love. there’s no actual logic here. they hate her so much that they believe a woman killing the man she loved, the father of her young child, is more likely than an extremely depressed man killing himself.

you don't have to get mad, but i would like to very gently suggest that finding yourself experiencing some form of shock or emotional numbness in the aftermath of a traumatic event is very common and is a natural response from the mind to protect itself/yourself.

you can in fact get mad about it. even if someone has apologized and meant it. someone being sincerely sorry for something doesn't mean you have to forgive them, and you cannot force your mind to forgive. you can always be angry, sad, any emotion at all. whatever emotion you feel is the correct one.

you're allowed to label it what you want, if you don't feel comfortable labeling it SA that's okay. i do want you to know that even if something "sounds" small to you that doesn't mean it feels small. the emotional impact is correctly sized, no matter what it is.

yeah it's very sad. it was more of a subconscious way of processing the grief, Anne Rice didn't initially realize the connection until the first readers of her manuscript pointed it out to her. but Claudia in the books is the same age and looks the same as Michele did.

i haven't actually read the books so unfortunately i don't know how he compares, but i think he's very interesting in the show. also Daniel is an extremely sassy old man in the show and it's fantastic
