China has gone from 52% plug in EV sales in the summer to 59% in October. That’s the very steep part of the diffusion S curve right there. Also, the NEV requirement in 2025 is 48% - they are ahead of their target.

En VÄLDIGT lågt hängande frukt för S, V och MP, om det fanns något som liknande ett rödgrönt samarbete, är förmögenhetsskatt. Det är en nobrainer. De rikaste röstar inte på något av dessa partier. Skit i eventuell irritation därifrån. Betona att de rikaste måste bidra mer, för välfärd kostar.

Danish newspaper Politiken had a nuanced piece yesterday on repurposing city space from cars to other uses 👌🏻.

The headlines:
- Paper version: More bikes. Less cars. How car-free cities is a European trend.
- Online: All over Europe there is an attack on cars

Car brain, or just click-bait media?

The death of browsing is part of the reason art is the way it is now. Our opinions are largely fed to us by algorithms. Spending a spare 15 minutes wandering around a bookstore or comic shop or video rental place was how you found stuff you wouldn't ordinarily pick up and thereby expanded your taste
Bookselling is like the most "people go to the store and buy what looks cool to them without a particular agenda" type business left, and your purchases have a huge influence on what is ordered, what is displayed, and what is recommended.

Bra nyheter!
Puffins have returned to Northern Ireland’s Isle of Muck (seriously, that’s its name) for the first time in at least 25 years. Tales of puffins on the island “felt more like folklore,” said nature reserves manager Andy Crory, but now they’re coming back. buff.ly/oBQlH6r

"The objective was to lay down building blocks for the region to transition from extractive industries like coal and timber to a hub for solar and other advanced energy technologies, with a view to long-term economic, climate and social resilience."
In 2022, Biden earmarked billions of dollars to help former coal communities. It was the largest investment in Appalachia since LBJ's 1960s’ war on poverty.

But Trump won West Virginia 70% to 28% in 2024. And now he's taking away the funding Biden gave them.

When are they going to learn?

"If the U.S. military operation is not an armed conflict of any kind, these orders to kill helpless civilians clinging to the wreckage of a vessel our military destroyed would subject everyone from SECDEF down to the individual who pulled the trigger to prosecution under U.S. law for murder."
Here are US military lawyers stating clearly that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth's "kill everybody" orders are either (1) war crimes or (2) murder.

Either way, expect prosecutions in the future.
