Nice! I don’t know mushrooms at all, so I just take pictures of them. 🤪 I DO want to learn a bit at some point. I want to harvest lobster mushrooms, since we have those in abundance here. We have a mushroom society here I keep meaning to go out wandering the woods with sometime.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?
