ITS MORBIN TIME

(That’s the line, right?)

Sad to say, it was always here. What you recognize as America was always a mirage for the benefit of the privileged.

just gonna say if you support biblical governance then you should generally oppose a race-baiting leader who is being plagued by frogs

What was done to Matthew 27 years ago still causes me and probably others to cry today.

He was beaten, tortured, tied to a fence and left for dead. He had only 2 spots on his face not covered in blood 🩸.

How could human beings be that cruel? They were this vicious, savage and sadistic.

They're very close to figuring out why the democrats, minus a few exceptions, are, indeed, controlled opposition.

But Susan isn’t a big dollar donor to the controlled opposition party, so neoliberalism offers Susan medical tourism and electoralism.

Polling is really bad on "Susan Whitelady, loving mother of three, bleeds out in a hospital parking lot because the doctors don't want to go to jail for ending an ectopic pregnancy" but somehow the people who are for that control every branch of the government

I truly believe a big reason why Democrats are failing to appropriately respond to the moment is a pathological refusal to admit that there were aspects of the American status quo pre trump that were extremely fucked up and unjust

Dit is de reden waarom ik Nederlands leer

I think I would much rather struggle to integrate somewhere, like Holland, that isn’t an authoritarian shitpit.

video of people being snatched by ICE at a laundromat shows an intersection between housing and immigration enforcement. if your unit and building don't have (working, available) laundry, that's one more errand where you have to spend significant time in potentially vulnerable public space

I saw enough coming that I feel at least a bit clever to have made a fuss about the shifting scene. But people in any oppressed minority enjoy a measure of future insight like Cassandra or Ipuwer, but the foretellings and admonitions are basically always dismissed with a snort and a hand wave.

Why did you have to bring those whackass objectivists into this, fam?
You can give an elliptic answer prolix enough to make good ol’ ibis-head himself need a Tylenol, but I might not read:

Alt: Locket opening says muted for life in it

If they can openly and rapaciously steal all our written works and arts just to create their energy-hungry golem capable of emulating several mentally ill redditors, then it just feels WEIRD to *also* be told pirating is super bad because rules are important; we serfs obey IP law and order mmkay.

This post needs an updated re-issue because AI companies have truly come up with some incredibly novel ways to push this technology that no one wants onto people.
The AI age is the "age of no consent"
"Inevitability" means design decisions are no longer informed by user needs; now they are unilaterally imposed. The users are the ones being designed.

Wait srsly you can only turn off the setting three times a year?

And let me take a wild guess that Microsoft helpfully walks over the consent of users at least four times a year and says “oops gotta wait X months before you can ASK us to stop rifling around your files.”📎

ICE has a history of preying on the most vulnerable and abusing people in their custody.

Many have died preventable deaths.

Two disabled people are currently being detained and denied all reasonable accommodations.

It’s eugenics. It’s cruelty for cruelty’s sake.
Disabled People are Being Mistreated in ICE Detention Facilities
Why is no one talking about it? Where's the media? Where's the public outcry? Another example of the pervasive nature of ableism and how society views disabled people as expendable.

“I spent three nights and three days in federal custody. During that time, I was never told what I was charged with, was not allowed to shower despite being covered in tear gas and pepper spray, had no phone call to my family, and no access to an attorney.” - George Retes, U.S. citizen and veteran.
I’m a US citizen and a veteran. ICE arrested me for no reason.
Jailed for three days without an explanation or ability to notify anyone, George Retes argues the only path to healing starts with the government taking accountability for its actions.
