them privately or if we refuse to take him to the gender clinic for "safe withdrawal" of meds. The head of the investigation admits the outcome for these children is "stark" but is going to do it anyway. They know that children are going to die and they are doing it anyway.

My son is caught up in this. They are forcibly detransitioning children who started blockers before the ban. No GP in the UK is allowed to continue prescribing for any under 16 year olds. We are being threatened with social services if we get...

Saw a news report yesterday about children as young as 9 being given weight loss jabs on the NHS, and I think it shows just how utterly bullshit the “lack of research into long term impacts” excuse for banning puberty blockers for trans kids really was. It’s purely ideological.

We've been way too compliant in playing cis games, and relying on trust and them 'doing the right thing' for far too long.

About PH, no, I don't overly care either. What does concern me greatly however is that there have been many trans resources that have been swept up in this block (un?)intentionally. Coupled with the Gov targeting trans content in schools, it has the potential to cause major harm to our trans youth.

I mean, there weren't many kids at my school who didn't know how to use a proxy to access games on the school computers. And this was in the early 2000's.

A more telling metric of the 'success' of this ban would be PH traffic in neighbouring regions, has it gone up a proportionate amount in those?

This is one of the things that highlights the transphobia baked into the system so well.

Trans people are begging for informed consent, something that would save the Gov money at a time they're looking for cuts. But they'd rather harm us than help themselves.
