Had some kids laughing at me in a cafe earlier because the Ronaldo T shirt I was wearing “didn‘t even have Ronaldo on it. “

Life is just gonna keep being like this now innit? As Slim Charles once said, “see, the thing about the old days, they the OLD days”

Glückwunsch! Congratulations to the lads from Barrow AFC fanzine "Give 'em beans" on their fanzine of the year award.

Definitely maybe deserved, if only for this cover, and great to see print fanzines still going strong throughout the English pyramid.

I'm sure once they "stop the boats" and inflict a healthy dose of cruelty on asylum seekers plus take their valuables off them then the lads calling her a paki and telling her to go home will stop being racist
"It's asylum seekers' fault I was racially abused..."

In any normal society, this would be a career killer.

And obviously completely ignores how creativity thrives in conversation and collaboration, in happy accidents. That some of your best work will be driven by the restrictions placed upon you. Things going wrong forcing you to adapt and think outside the box. Thinking on your feet. Fail. Fail better.
It’s tiresome at this point, but again, their entire pitch is “wouldn’t it be great if there were no such things as talent, craft, and skill,” and what that means is a bland, slop-filled world. www.businessinsider.com/marc-andrees...

Jenrick casting 1980s British football hooliganism as something that was easily dealt with by police and not an era defining issue which we're still living with the consequences of today... He's genuinely the most unserious person in British politics rn

Politicians and the media are suddenly concerned about how football fans are treated when travelling abroad. Fans of English clubs have had to endure all sorts when supporting their teams on the continent for years. Yet there has been nothing said about constant mistreatment of their own citizens 🤷‍♂️️
